Volunteer role description
Where will I be volunteering?
Our volunteer support team operates from TWAM Head Office, Ipswich
What commitment is expected from me?
It would be really helpful if you volunteered regularly, ideally on an agreed day/s every week
What will I be helping to achieve?
We heavily rely on our volunteers so you will be helping to ensure that applications are processed quickly, references are obtained and resources are sent out.
What are the main things I will be doing?

Communicating with applicants by phone, letter or email.

Obtaining references from the details given on the application form

Sending out volunteer role offer letters and other resources
What strengths and skills will be helpful for this role?
This is an interesting and varied role. You need to be happy working as part of a small team. It is a good role if you enjoy
communicating and to do the role well you will be a people focused person.
What support can I expect to receive?
A Full induction and volunteer handbook on starting. A named contact whilst you are volunteering and further training as required.
What can I expect from volunteering with TWAM?
