We are a Christian charity that collects unwanted usable tools, refurbishes them, sorts them into trade tool kits and sends them to the developing world for livelihood creation.

Thanks for taking time to visit our dedicated volunteer site

We send around 20 containers filled with over 300 tonnes of tools to Africa every year.  We invest in local people supporting their own communities through livelihood creating projects such as skills training centres.

In doing this we have help literally tens of thousands of people across the developing world to gain the dignity and respect of lifting themselves out of poverty through the provision of livelihood creating tools.  Our mission is to respect their right to know far better than us, what they need to do to change their lives and we support them in doing this.

We give a sense of purpose and pride to people across the UK who volunteer with us.  Many are retired, others have learning difficulties and some just find life hard and need a place of safety and welcome.  We're honoured to be that place for so many.

Finally, we're proud of our green credentials as we save tonnes of tools headed for landfill and refurbish them for use again in Africa.

So if you want to share our vision and support our work, we would love you to look through our site and come and join us.  We welcome all abilities and everybody of our faith, other faiths and no faith.

We need people who will share our passion to collect unwanted tools, refurbish them, sort them into trade kits and help us send them to the developing world for livelihood creation.
